Fire up the barbie — Townsville Brass is running the sausage sizzle at the Townsville SupaCentre on Saturday 27 June! We’ll be set up from 8:00 AM through to around 3:00 PM, serving up snags, smiles, and good vibes to raise funds for our organisation. Swing by while you’re doing your weekend shopping, grab a sausage or two, and support local music in the community. Every snag sold helps us keep rehearsing, performing, and growing the band for players of all ages. Come say hi, grab breakfast or lunch, and help us make it a great day.

The passionate and committed musicians of Townsville Brass will present a first-class rousing program, this year presenting “Best of British”, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the movie “Brassed Off”. The programme will feature classic brass band numbers from the movie, rounded out by works either written or performed by British artists such as Queen, Elton John, Paul Lovett Cooper and more. All aboard! Brolga Brass is heading to the Townsville Train Park for a Sunday morning of music, mini‑locomotives, and pure train fun! Bring the family, grab a ride on the miniature trains, and enjoy a relaxed outdoor concert as we fill the park with brass band favourites, from Thomas the Tank Engine to Lady Gaga. It’s one of Townsville’s most charming little venues — tiny trains, big vibes, and today Brolga Brass will be bringing the soundtrack. Perfect for kids, rail enthusiasts, and anyone who loves a good Sunday morning in the sun.
