We need a small group of players to play Christmas songs while our guests build their gingerbread houses. At the hall, low stress gig in air conditioning! Start playing at 2pm, definitely done by 4 (maybe earlier, if everyone builds their house quickly).

Everyone is invited to celebrate the year that was for our Academy and Youth Band.  There will be performances and you are invited to bring a plate to share. It would be amazing to see as many association members as possible attend to support our up and coming players!

This event is for the new committee.  It will help everyone to understand their roles for the upcoming committee year, as well as help us start making some strategic plans and setting important dates.

The Strand Night Markets are a really great place for us to carol, and we get paid to do so! This event is for Townsville Brass and Brolga Brass players who are familiar with our carols repertoire.  Conductors will revise this repertoire closer to the event also. If we can get two groups of roaming carollers to take turns and share the load that would be AMAZING! So please do your best to be available for this one! This gig is for all Brolga Brass members and helpers.

For our end of year event and annual awards, we're heading to Cutharinga Bowls Club for barefoot bowls (for those who want to play) from 4:00pm and dinner and awards from 6:00pm.  Dinner is a buffet with hot meat plus roast vegetables and boiled vegetables, bread rolls and gravy. Dessert is also included.  Partners and families welcome 😊

All of our bands will be featured in this concert! At only $5 a ticket to help us raise funds for the association, this is an event not to be missed. Drinks will be on sale at the bar.  Ticket information coming soon.

All members from all bands are encouraged to attend.  Please make sure you are a financial member if you'd like to have voting rights. We look forward to seeing you there!
